Variable Speed Drive Control
Abstract
Many industrial processes need variable speed drives for varied applications. The project aims to develop associate degree AC drive for one section induction motor supported the variable voltage, variable frequency methodology. The core of the AC drive is that the ATMEL 89C51 microcontroller that generates needed the desired PWM signals to gate the H-BRIDGE electrical converter by that associate degree AC offer of variable voltage and frequency required to drive the induction motor at completely different speed is achieved. The driver IC IR2110 serves the aim of isolation between the microcontroller circuit and therefore, the H-BRIDGE electrical converter and provides the specified gate voltage for the physical phenomenon of the facility MOSFET (IRF840) within the H-BRIDGE electrical converter.
