Abstract

Dengue is a viral spreading disease all over the countries. Every year about 40% of the world population gets affected by infectious diseases. The main objective is to count the blood platelets along with the symptoms of the people and diagnose their disease. Platelets are small blood cells about 2 to 4-micrometer diameter. The platelet counts 150,000-450,000 for every microlitre of blood. Image processing is a technique that is used to detect the problem efficiently with the least time and cost. In the SVM algorithm, the Segmentation technique and image labeling are used to investigate the number of platelets in the microscopic image of the blood sample which can identify whether the person is affected with dengue or not. Instead of the manual count, this process will help us to solve it efficiently.
