In this paper, the possible applications of the Artificial Intelligence to some of the problems which are unexplored by AI is discussed. The first field is the (FEA) Finite element analysis carried out using different software’s like Ansys, hypermesh and abaqus. In this field, the problem I encountered was during the transient stress analysis of bearings. It was observed that to calculate the principal stress for a rotating bearing with a defect for different time intervals more memory and processing power is required and therefore such simulations are time consuming, but AI can be used to predict the stress after some training. Similarly, in Computational fluid mechanics (CFD) analysis of a heat exchanger the problem was in selection of elements and the mesh size for the analysis for maximum heat transfer efficiency.
