The low quality peanuts indicate parameters like defects, damage, white layer, green layer etc. The high quality peanuts are bold and perfectly suitable for export. Morphological and colour based features are used to train to SVM classifier. The overall classification rate obtained for identification of all varieties is 83.5%.
