Application of P-B Methodology for Edge Detection of Images

Abstract

Edge Detection is an important part of image processing. Edge detection of images has become the biggest challenge to the research personnel. In this paper, anobel edge detection method which computes edges of different images using the technique of Prewitt operator along with Bergholm Operator is presented. Here, the edge detection of images using Prewitt-Bergholm (P-B) Operatoris compared with Prewittas well as Bergholm Operator separately.
