Abstract

Health is the most important aspect of human life but to the contrary in India due to the huge population, the doctor-population ratio is less than a doctor per 1000 patients in India. Even though India has grown significantly in terms of technology in the last decade, not much has changed in healthcare facilities. The idea is to use Internet of Things and Cloud Computing for better healthcare facilities in India. This project provides the facility of simultaneous analytics and distant monitoring of patients to the hospitals. A patient’s vital health indicators like pulse rate, electrocardiography (ECG), SpO2 and body temperature are constantly analysed in the cloud and also an emergency message signal is sent to the doctor in case of abnormalities found.
