Abstract

Both wired and wireless communication systems are possible. In wired communication, the medium is a physical channel, such as coaxial cables, twisted pair cables, optical fibre lines, etc. Among the different fixed, mobile, and portable, the applications that are mentioned are wireless networking, two-way radios, cell phones, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). Other examples of radio wireless technology applications include headsets, wireless mouse, garage door openers, and GPS devices. These devices direct the signal's propagation from one place to another point via a channel. A guided medium operates in this manner. When information is sent or transmitted across without using wires, cables, or any other electrical conductors, over a distance, it is said to be wireless. One of the key means of transmitting data or information to other devices is wireless communication. Mobile phones are just one of the various wireless communication devices. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies, 3G and 4G networks are all present in modern wireless phones. This essay focuses on wireless communication system components, wireless communication types, benefits and drawbacks, smart cities, and wireless network security.
