The Optimization of Consumption UWSN Energy Using Slime Mold Algorithm: A Metaheuristic Algorithm

The importance of water networks and the increasing requirement to store new scientific and stimulant data for exploring related to underwater network issues cause us to pay attention to UWSN all over the world. Nevertheless, WSN encounters some challenges like harsh environment, higher propagation delay, and limited battery power. In this study, we present a routing strategy based on RPSOR protocol using a metaheuristic algorithm named slime mold algorithm with the optimization of underwater node's energy preservation, which is based on three main factors, advancement factor, reliability index as well as shortest path index. Slime mold algorithm is an optimization algorithm that is used optimal food searching by the molds. When the quality of different food sources differs, slime mold can choose food sources with the highest density.
