Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones, have rapidly expanded in the twenty-first century as so many people use the sky. Future smart cities will incorporate this technology because of its enormous advantages in commercial and civil applications like hostage rescue and package delivery. UAVs play a significant role in numerous industries, including agriculture, the military, healthcare, monitoring and surveillance, and many more, because of their svelte form and adaptable mobility. The communication networks that assist the control and data transmission of UAVs show an essential responsibility in their effective operation. However, these networks face numerous security challenges that need to be delivered to confirm the safe and reliable operation of UAVs. It is examined that due to a lack of effective security solutions, drone technology presents vulnerabilities and challenges. So, based on a detailed analysis, this review examines the security and privacy concerns associated with UAV communication. This paper presents comprehensive review on security issues in UAV Communication Networks.
