Abstract

RFID libraries are incredibly significant to people. Radiofrequency identification (RFID) is a new generation of auto identification and data collection technology that assists in library transactions, automates business processes, and enables the radio wave identification of numerous tagged objects like books. RFID is crucial in the acquisition and retention of a person's knowledge. This paper proposes an RFID-based library management system that enables quick transaction flow and will make problem-solving simple. It also adds properties of traceability and security and benefits by preventing book missing and stock verification of books from the library without a lot of manual bookkeeping intervention. The suggested system is built around active RFID readers and passive RFID tags, which can electrically store information that can be read with the aid of an RFID reader. This system will use GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) to convey details about the status of the book in the account and the fine associated with its absence from the library database.
