Abstract

This research introduces a novel design for a Switched-Capacitor Boost Inverter (SCBI) aimed at enhancing switch density and overall performance in power electronic applications. The proposed inverter architecture incorporates advanced control strategies and capacitor management techniques to achieve improved efficiency and reduced component count. Simulation results demonstrate superior performance compared to conventional boost inverters, showcasing increased power density and enhanced transient response. The study establishes the viability of the proposed design for high-frequency applications and contributes to the ongoing efforts in advancing power electronic systems for efficient energy conversion in renewable energy and electric vehicle applications. The innovative SCBI design holds promise for addressing the evolving demands of modern power systems.
