Abstract

quickly developing urban communities. Utilization of Geo-informatics is gigantically useful
in fulfilling this undertaking with part of sparing in time and vitality. In this work
Vijayawada, a quickly developing city is considered as a contextual analysis, furthermore,
urban development has been examined over a time of 26 years to anticipate future urban
extension in the year 2040. Landsat satellite pictures of 1988, 2008and 2014 are utilized for
