Abstract

Tourism in Riau has a very big influence on the development of the Riau region. For this reason, good management is needed so that tourist destinations in Riau are not only known by Indonesian tourists but also foreign tourists. One of the important tourism managements is the management of tourist travel routes. The management of tourist travel routes is done by minimizing the total travel time so that it can minimize the total cost of the trip. Cheap travel costs will attract tourists to visit Riau. Researchers are interested in constructing a mathematical model of tourist travel routes in Riau so that the total travel time and total travel costs are optimal. The management of tourist travel routes in this study is focused on land travel. Tourists will know how much total travel time and total travel costs they need when visiting tourist areas in mainland Riau. The mathematical model is made using gold programming and the ant colony algorithm.
