Abstract

The primary consideration when developing a herbal hand sanitizer is hand cleanliness. The treatment, diagnosis, and management of any associated infections depend heavily on this fundamental concept. The main purpose of hand sanitizers is to stop the spread of bacteria, harmful diseases, and other microbes from the hands to different areas of the body. Hand hygiene is essential step in all production of food, food service, household, and other child welfare preparations. Negative side effects like dermatitis, itching, and irritation are avoided by using hand sanitizer.

The current study's objectives were to develop a herbal hand sanitizer using Eucalyptus globulus (Nilgiri) leaves extract, a well-known herbal blend with several uses, and to assess the antibacterial activity and hand safety of each product. E. coli, Pseudomonas aeuroginosa, S. aureus, Bacillus subtilis, and Candida albicans were the microorganisms against which the formulation was tested using a culture sensitivity test. In comparing to the accepted reference, it was discovered that the importance was greater.
