Consumer Awareness and Satisfaction on E- Vehicles-An Analytical Study

For more than a century, vehicles that are powered by electricity have been in use. Electricity in stored form is of greatest usefulness and has been applied in various vehicles for more than a decade. Taking into consideration the environmental effects and with the motive to reduce the consumption of various fuels, electric vehicles (EVs) were created. The research on EV vehicles had said that electric vehicles are one of the potential means to reduce the greenhouse gas effect. While compared with internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEV), the plugin hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) contributes towards fuel economy through advancements in power, energy storage, and support. EV users in Coimbatore city are used to collect the data. The responses are collected and the sample size of 100 was collected and the responses are fed into SPSS for study and statement confirmation. The study also examines how well-informed Indian consumers are about E-vehicles. The researchers found that majority of the people are aware of e-vehicles in the market. Further, suggestions were given regarding improvements in the engine capacity, charging points, and to make the price affordable. It is also concluded that future investment in the infrastructure would bring a tremendous growth in the e-vehicle industry which would lead to greater use of e-vehicles in India.
