Abstract

Background: There are Bartholin's glands on either side of the vaginal entrance. These glands release a lubricating fluid that nourishes the vagina. Sometimes, these glands' entrances are blocked, which leads to a buildup of fluid inside the gland. A generally painless swelling known as a Bartholin's cyst is the ultimate conclusion. Mucous buildup in the gland duct is the main cause of cyst development in glands. Such cysts should be monitored because they could develop into carcinomas. Larger cysts and abscesses are frequently accompanied by erythema and oedema in the lower vestibular area while a tiny cyst may not cause any symptoms and remain untreated.

Main Body: In this audit includes bartholin cysts complication during treatment & after treatment or surgical procedure, comorbid condition, current treatment scenario, and emerging treatment. Information on carcinomas or tumours that develop in Bartholin cysts during or after therapy is available under the conditions of complications and comorbidity. The current treatment plan includes medications that are taken during the operation to lessen discomfort and inflammation as well as surgical procedures, such as CO2 laser surgery and marsupialization, which are used to treat Bartholin cysts. Currently less popular, emerging treatments include yoga, sitz baths, herbal remedies, and ayurvedic medicine.
