Volume and Composition of India’s Foreign Trade

Abstract

Foreign   trade   plays   a   vital   role   in the   Indian economy.  She exports different products and also imports an equal amount of other products. The  recent trade and  investment  policy  has  displayed  a  marked  shift  in  pushing  for  a  more  liberal  global  trade  regime.  This paper attempts to analyse the volume, and composition of Indian foreign trade.
