A Study on the Effectiveness of a Blended Learning Environment among Commerce Students

Abstract

The main objective of the study is to analyse the effectiveness of a blended learning environment which is forming a new part in the recent curriculum. For this purpose 50 commerce students have been selected and a structured questionnaire has been framed and circulated among them. The data collected have been analysed using the statistical tools viz., descriptive statistics and t-test. Using t-test it is inferred that there is a significant variation between the genders of the students based on blended learning environment. It is finally found that the students found blended learning to be more effective than the normal teaching methodology that is followed.
