Abstract

A Coplanar Waveguide fed ultra wide band is designed for S band applications. The size of an proposed antenna is about 25x25x1mm.It has an bandwidth range from 2.66 GHz to 2.88 GHz .The antenna use Teflon as a substrate and its dielectric constant value is 2.1.This proposed antenna is simulated by using HFSS software this gives low return loss of -27dB with VSWR of 1 and the reflection coefficient of an antenna is -27dB. The Operating frequency of this proposed antenna is about 2.77GHz which is suitable for Aircraft Surveillance Radar (ASR).
