Overview of the 5G Network

Abstract

The communication industry has experienced phenomenal growth over the past two decades. From the 1st generation of networks to the present 5th generation of networks, there have been significant and noticeable differences in the way we communicate. While the first generation of networks was said to be voice centered, the evolving generations of networks were data-centered and now cater to other needs. This paper looks at the general overview of 5G networks and the benefit and challenges that accompany it.
