Basics of Mobile Cloud Computing

Abstract

The increasing popularity of mobile applications and the growing demand for users has made the resource constraints available in such systems more apparent. Collaboration between mobile devices and cloud computing has solved some of these problems. Cloud computing offers a new opportunity to develop mobile applications, allowing mobile devices to maintain a very thin layer for user applications and shift the computing and processing overhead to the virtual environment. Mobile cloud computing is one of the main areas of mobile technology in the future; this is because of the benefits of both mobile and cloud computing, which leads to optimal services for users. This report provides an overview of this emerging system and its challenges.
