Abstract

Disruption of information and communication technologies not only opens up new possibilities for economic and social development, but also poses problems and challenges. It can shape and enhance a wide range of shaping applications in agriculture, industry and social segments and impact all sectors of society at large. In this direction, information and communication technology is an easily accessible communication and information tool that greatly helps in women's empowerment. The article then examines information and communication technology as a tool for empowering women in India.
