Abstract

“Vehicle detection and alert system in hilly regions" is a technology that uses traffic lights to detect vehicles on one side of a hairpin curve and help vehicles on the other side with assistance. Because there is no communication between the vehicles and there is no view over the hairpin bends, traffic congestion and accidents are highly common in hairpin curves. Current prototypes certainly provide a way to avoid collisions, but they fall short when it comes to managing traffic effectively, which is especially important in hilly locations. The goal of this work is to intelligently identify and categorize the cars, to prevent accidents by employing traffic signals, and to efficiently manage traffic by using vehicle class information. The goal of this project is to deploy accident avoidance systems to effectively prevent car accidents and to give consumers the highest level of security during severe or inclement weather. It is quite difficult to drive cars as smoothly in bad weather as it is in good weather. In general, only adverse weather circumstances are to blame for the majority of these accidents. In this essay, we offer a methodical solution to the aforementioned issue, discuss the shortcomings of the current models, and clarify the necessity of efficient traffic control on hairpin curves.
