In this study, an EHCO PLUS- 2ZZ-GE-02 model light vehicle was used to analyze the effect of tire inflation pressures, loading, and shock absorber conditions on the fuel consumption. A computerized machine vision-based wheel alignment measuring system was used to detect the misalignment of wheel and the fuel consumption was then analyzed before and after wheel alignment. The experimental analysis results show that the fuel performance depends on tire pressure, loading and shock absorber conditions. It can be seen that reducing the inflation pressure in the tire, overloading the vehicles and bad shock absorber condition results in increasing the fuel consumption rate. However, the fuel consumption of the vehicle has significantly improved by adjusting the alignment of wheels.
