Abstract

The textile industry, the workers were committed into the hazardous area to carry out the
working process. The major health and safety issues are exposed to cotton dust, exposure to
hazardous chemicals, exposure to noise and ergonomics issues. The garments requires a
number of processes such as spinning, colorization, weaving, stitching and finishing. In the
form of physical hazards, fire hazards and ergonomical hazards. The textile industry deals
with “Non-traditional dusts” which mainly initiate fibers into fragmentation and abrasion.
