IOT based Smart Pill Box for Medication Management

Abstract

Humans make a common error by forgetting to take pills at right time. Such carelessness may lead impact on individual health. The objective of this research is to develop a Smart Pill Box which helps a patient primarily the senior patients, Alzheimer patients for taking pills at right time. Consuming pills at right time avoids certain health issues with permanent disease like blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, cancer diseases etc. The Smart Pill Box will notify the patient to take the pill on prescribed time and analyse the data to report the progress in curing the disease. An application on their Smartphone will show the progress of the disease.
