Abstract

To create a low-cost Energy Monitoring System, the suggested approach uses ZigBee wireless connection and an Arduino controller (EMS).  It is used to monitor electrical parameters in real-time without the need for a network connection. This research discussed the ZigBee versus Arduino interface technology, which minimizes coding and acquires energy meter data with a shorter latency time. To achieve energy savings, the proposed solution uses a strong communication protocol and an Arduino controller with easily embedded code and educates residential, commercial, and industrial users about their daily energy usage. The system's objective is to provide speedy power communication between distribution and consumers at a cheap cost and with a simple interface.
