Design and Development of an Automated Antenna Rotator Control System

This study aimed to design and develop an Automated Antenna Rotator Control System that lessens the time, money, space and effort in managing the control unit of a rotator to make it suitable and easy to use. The Automated Antenna Rotator Control System is a controller that can be easily accessed and controlled using a mobile phone connected through Bluetooth with the help of Arduino Uno, Relay Module, Bluetooth Module and a mobile application to achieve a smooth and initialized project. The procedure in the design and development of the Automated Antenna Rotator Control System are; (1) conceptualization, (2) design, (3) construction of the prototype, and (4) testing of the prototype. The project was evaluated for its effectiveness and efficiency and was found to be a potential antenna rotator control system. This study shows that the components of the project are fully functional and are deemed important in the operation of operators and radio stations.
