Abstract

In this project we designed to effort automatically as well therefore, there is no need for any human involvement. It will automatically monitor the soil and it reduces water waste and increases plant growth, we use Arduino and a moisture sensor in this project, to solve these soil moisture problems and the major benefit is that the system's operation can be altered according to the conditions of crops, soil, weather situation, and all kind of soil humidity problems etc. By applying this Arduino-based soil moisture testing system, the horticultural lands, agricultural, parks, grounds, and golf courses can be moistened. We can also use the simple methods arising by battery can be implemented which comes into use in case of interrupted power supply. Ancillary pumps can be used in case of a fault in the pump. This project can be used to evaluate the loss of moisture in the top soils, over time as a result of vaporization and consumption. More over in any type of climate this system will be useful and easily rectify the soil problem. This Arduino-based soil moisture system will also control water wastage, and will increase agricultural plant growth much more advanced or higher.
