Abstract

This paper presents a cost-effective multipurpose drone that will aid in the reduction of air pollutants that exceed WHO's threshold values. This drone is equipped with functionalities including air quality monitoring, the onboard sensor for altitude measurement and GPS for getting the accurate location of the drone, and an abatement solution that will counteract against the pollutant. The proposed system will fly over up to a predetermined E-Altitude and measure the number of air pollutants at that location, implement the onboard abatement solution for the pollutants which are above the threshold value, and flies down to the ground. One of the main features of this system which make it unique is, it not only measure and analyze the excess the pollutants but also counteract against it automatically.
