Abstract

High Strength, Hardness, and Stiffness at low weight sparked the want for aluminum-based composites in the automotive, aerospace, and electrical industries. SiC, Al2O3, graphite, etc. are some of the most common aluminium reinforcements. Adding ceramic particles to aluminium considerably improves its power and hardness. In this research, Al 6061 used to be bolstered with SiC and Al2O3 particles via the stir casting method. Composite and metallic samples had been subjected to a range of mechanical tests, such as anxiety and hardness, and the effects have been compared. Scanning electron microscopy published an ordinary distribution of bolstered particles in the microstructure of the composite samples (SEM).
