Abstract

The demand of natural sand or river sand is increased in construction industry and has increased a lot resulting in the reduction of sources and is costly. Thus an increased need to identify a suitable substitute that is ecofriendly, cheap in rate, economic in rate and inexpensive Manufacturing sand being extensively used as an alternative to the natural sand in the production of concrete or ordinary concrete. In Indore region, Peoples always face scarcity of sand in rainy season because of the low availability of concrete. out sites suffer economically due to delay in construction activity for want of concrete (ordinary concrete) which is usually prepare by using Natural river sand. Our project target is to overcome this hurdle of scarcity of sand for manufacturing of ordinary concrete. For this the only remedy which is, cheapest, locally available in required quantity and when required. Since so many researches are conducted on sand replacement. But, according to available research no research has concluded on 100 % replacement of sand with appropriate required strength. Therefore, the Aim of our review is to carry out 100% replacement of river sand by manufactured sand to achieve required strength, workability, durability for the ordinary concrete and to make it cost economical. Hence, costonomcial sand therefore, artificial sand (M-sand) prepared from crushed stone particle by implication of smart technique of crushing stone.
