Ceramics residue is among the most important fields of study in a many regulations, particularly civil engineering and building supplies. Ceramic waste material is deposited by softening and afterwards discarded, resulting in contamination of the atmosphere, besides producing dust in summer that affecting both farmland and population health. Furthermore, the use of ceramic residue in industries wills assets in protecting the environment particularly in the infrastructure, farming, papers, and glasses factories. Developing environmentally-friendly concrete from ceramic waste is therefore significant. This study examined the impact of ceramic wastes on mortar cement characteristics. Cement mortar has a mixing ratio 1: 3 and the ceramics waste were added in ratios of 10%, 20% and 30% as cement replacement. The results obtained from the study showed decreasing in mortar properties in the presence of more ceramic wastes.
