Importance of Encryption in Cloud Computing

Abstract

There has been a 90% increase in Internet usage throughout this pandemic. People work remotely all around the world, and  every company has started implementing virtualization. However, the main drawback of this is that hackers will have several possibilities to access our systems and steal sensitive company information. For any IT company, the employee is one of the most vulnerable parties. Because the employee was fully aware of the weaknesses of that company, including its confidential keys and data and private IP addresses. Distributed computing and virtualization are the foundation of the entire cloud computing infrastructure. Utilizing various encryption and cryptography techniques, such as symmetric and asymmetric encryption, is crucial. This paper's goal is to raise awareness of the value of cloud encryption.
