Over the years, technology has grown rapidly. At present, the rapid development of technology also affects the rapid development of the cosmetic industry. The progress of the Indonesian beauty industry shows many improvements. In Indonesia, the specifications of the cosmetic markets are different. The specifications of many cosmetics make it difficult for potential buyers to choose the type of cosmetics that suits their needs. For those who are interested, if they want to know about cosmetics, it is common to come to the cosmetics counter. However, not all switches are recommended for prospective customers who do not intend to deviate from the guidelines. This method is inefficient and time-consuming. One solution to this problem is to develop a recommendation system for selecting cosmetic purchases. Recommendation systems are designed to help customers make the right decisions about using your product. The method used in recommender systems is the collaborative filtering method. Collaborative filtering is based on the general approach of item profiles and user profiles. We design a system based on cosmetics and provide recommendations according to the user's required specifications.
