Abstract

Today world is changing more rapidly. New technologies are getting developed every day. Digitization of every field from waking up to getting back to bed we are all surrounded by internet all over. Starting from identifying our identity to making payments or it can be said that even texting over social apps generates lots of data. In such scenario preserving our data is the priority of every individual. So, organizations providing digital services need to know the algorithms that are in the best practices to make consumes data secure. The security algorithms allow two clients to have a secure transmission of data from one end to another end. In this research paper there is a brief comparison of the Hashing algorithms namely the variants of SHA and MD5 that would make it easy for the developers to identify which algorithm is used when.
