Abstract

The social media has helped a lot of people with their life. It has been a very good platform for people to make friends and communicate with each other even though they were physically apart. It has led to the tremendous interest that people have for the internet now-a-days. It made some effects in the field of business too, it has led to the requirement of phones or gadgets and the ISP’s. And also, it has a main use and the purpose if many social media sites are collecting Data. Data from the users can be used for many purposes like prediction, marketing and analysis. In this paper, a huge site is considered - Twitter for analyzing the people reaction to the demonetization of the Indian currency using Hadoop.
