The databases has shown to be one of the most efficient ways to store large amounts of data. Daily basis, the volumes of information being created multiplies. Relational Database Management Systems or RDBMS have become the most common and successful method for preserving information. The RDBMS, which is utilized by the large percentage of enterprises and organizations throughout the world, enables for efficient and scalable administration and preservation. Intruders then focus such systems in order to get unapproved access, which may be quite troublesome for everyone concerned. There have been different techniques that have been developed in the past few years that have been derived for the purpose of achieving the security of databases but most of the approaches have been insufficient or lacked efficiency. Therefore, this research paper describes an efficient and highly secure system for the purpose of providing security to the database using blockchain along with the creation of the forensic analysis report in case of an intrusion or tampering. The approach has been quantified using extensive experimentation with satisfactory results.
