Abstract

Agricultural planning plays a major role in increasing crop yields, leading to an increase in agricultural income.  Due to lack of knowledge pertaining to the activities related to agriculture, the crop harvest is severely affected. Occasionally farmers do not know about the right plants in terms of soil quality and composition. E-agriculture integrates technology and digital approaches to agricultural processes to achieve a robust product. The proposed program aims to assist farmers in implementing effective farming by promoting farmers with the right yield based on specific site parameters. Furthermore, the system includes a recommender system that analyses the crop and soil specific parameters and recommends the appropriate crop, pesticides and fertilizers for the given conditions. To diagnose the disease affecting the crop, we have incorporated an open CV model that analyses the image of the affected crop and suggest the suitable remedy. Therefore, the primary objective of this project is to address most of the regular challenges that are encountered by farmers and eventually suggest the most accurate solutions.
