The lower atmosphere, specifically the troposphere zone, and its related impacts on earthquake (EQ) seismic events are examined in this paper. Most of these seismic events show prominent changes and sudden anomalies in temperature ranges, corresponding humidity levels, and radio refractive index profiles before and after the event, which offers a potential and feasible method or mechanism to predict the occurrence of EQ in the concerned risk-prone areas. This study examines anomalies using electromagnetic (EM) signals in the broad interdisciplinary field of communication and geophysics engineering. In this context, proper mutual understanding of the prediction signals consisting of complex seismic dynamics mainly based on troposphere conditions mainly linked with such devastating events and their further prediction with machine learning algorithms as well as their extended applications serves to be important.
