Abstract

In our daily lives, the crime rate continues to rise, and security is increasingly compromised, leading to an upsurge in criminal activities. Various crimes, including kidnappings, acts of terrorism, and homicides, often occur due to the use of unauthorized or untraceable vehicles. To counter the presence of unauthorized vehicles on the roads, several technologies, such as RFID and camera-based identification systems, have been developed. This paper aims to explore research into the different technologies employed in vehicle identification that are user-friendly for authorized individuals. The primary objective of this paper is to offer insights into the various technologies used for vehicle identification. It intends to delve deeper into the technologies described in existing research and advance the state of vehicle identification systems to a level where compromise becomes increasingly difficult.
