Abstract

The shipping of refrigerators is an important aspect of the cold chain. The purpose is to monitor the temperature and humidity within the refrigerated trucks as well as handle internal data. This system uses advanced technologies such as MQTT, Cloud Computing, sensor technology, and wireless communication technology to create an intelligent monitoring system based on the Internet of Things that can monitor temperature and humidity inside refrigerator trucks, as well as intelligent cargo identification and tracking the location of refrigerator trucks in real-time throughout the transportation process. The suggested system included an ESP32, DHT22, E18 infrared sensor, RTC, and GSP module as the main control unit. The system is extremely powerful in terms of monitoring refrigerated trucks from any location and at any time using a mobile application. Through mobile and web applications, this system will be able to control and monitor. Using MQTT, we will be able to monitor data such as temperature, humidity, and door status. It is pleased with the outcomes of the monitoring system analysis and experimentation for the planned refrigerated truck monitoring system. Furthermore, the key advantages of this proposed system are that it reduces human effort for manual monitoring and loss due to an uncontrolled environment.
