Bangladesh is an agricultural country and is now converting to industrial country but unplanned industrialization creates great impact on our environment degradation. The research study is aimed to quantification of PM10 and PM2.5 particulates from Chittagong by using SPM Air samplers. In this study, different air pollutants have been analyzed like PM 10 and PM 2.5 which are responsible for air pollution from different industrial areas, to compare the different ETP plants in terms of efficiency. Particulate matter (PM) is a common indicator for air pollution. The concentration of PM2.5 in all samples varied from 86 to 497μgm3, but the standard value of department of environment (DoE) is 65μgm3. The concentration of PM10 in all samples varied from 215 to 3218μgm3, but the standard value of department of environment (DoE) is 150μgm3. Besides, the emphasis of this research work is to analyze different heavy metals of waste water of different industries before and after treatment and ultimately to evaluate the present scenario of environment pollution. Waste and effluents from textiles, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and other industries have high concentrations of some heavy metals which cause great harm to the environment. The present study was carried out on thirteen industries which are located in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
