Abstract

In the current situation, people all over the world are looking for ways to use agricultural waste in productive ways while avoiding disposal issues and landfilling costs. The main goal is to evaluate the usefulness of agricultural waste as an admixture in the sub-grade layer of road construction and to improve the engineering properties of the sub-grade layer so that it could be used in the lower layer of road construction. This study looked into the possibility of using Sugarcane Fiber, Sugarcane Bagasse Ash (SCBA), and Banana Fiber as an admixture at a suitable percentage. To ensure the stability and strength of the Sub-Grade layer of road construction can be enhanced by using agricultural waste. This study seeks to investigate the properties of soil by performing different tests to assess the suitability of soils for mixing in road construction with agricultural waste with subgrade soil.
