Abstract

Corrosion cost is 2-3% of Gross National Product (GNP). It is expressed in Corrosion Penetration Rate (CPR). Its model can accurately predict CPR over time. Corrosion abatement is essential to reduce the cost of corrosion. Corrosion abatement by chemical inhibition is one important technique. The biochemical inhibition method of corrosion prevention using neem leaf extract is the cheap one. Corrosion inhibition potential of neem leaf extract is proven one.
