Abstract

The aesthetic performance or attractiveness of fabric to the appearance of the fabric as it complements the appearance of the garment. Functional requirements of textile take into consideration how the product is made for what purpose it is made and from what it is made. Fabric aesthetic character is defined as a relationship among a minimum of six concepts such as Style, body cover, surface, texture, drape and resilience. Fibre identity polygon is to be perceived at a glance. Productive identity may be constructed in such a way that they may be compared with fibre identity polygons.
