The present work is to explore the impact of process parameters while turning aluminium-based composite using carbide tools. The experiments were performed on a CNC turret lathe using Taguchi's standard L18 orthogonal array. Taguchi's quality loss function analysis was used to analyze the responses. The nose radius: 0.8 mm, speed: 1250 RPM, feed: 0.1 mm/rev and depth of cut: 0.9 mm are found as the best machining parameters that yield the optimal results. According to the ANOVA results, feed is the most influencing factor in determining the multi-response value.
