There are a variety of fabrics in types and forms and each type has a different texture and properties. Any fabric is constructed with a pliable substance by entwining a web of natural or synthetic yarn form. The classification of fibers is originally based on natural materials as well as synthetic materials. For garment manufacturing, the basic material is a fabric that can be woven or knitted type. The popularity of any shirt depends on the nature of the fabrics they are made and the factors are the weave types, selection of fibers, design, and motifs of the pattern. Label in a shirt is very important from the viewpoint of three important considerations such as instructions for care, the logo of the brand, and the material out of which the shirt is made. Basically, there are five types of fabric or cloth that are available such as cotton, silk, linen, wool, and worsted, and all other fabrics are made from them. The common practice of the pattern manufacturers is to confuse us, and therefore it is a good approach to develop a way to approach the confusing matters for a better solution. A flow chart is an important guideline to understand the processes involved in garment manufacturing right from the raw materials to the transformation into the desired shirt. The total process involved in the manufacturing of shirts is getting older, sourcing of raw materials, fabric cutting, shirt stitching component wise, finishing and packing, and finally shipment of the order.
