Abstract

Body in White is the all-welded structure made of different varieties of steel to which the various sub-frameworks like seats, control panel, engine, and so on; are appended to shape a total vehicle. The body-in-white, foundation of a vehicle needs to satisfy numerous useful prerequisites like safety, service life, stiffness, and acoustics. Other than the functionality of the white body, the ever-growing interest or demand for eco-friendliness and improved fuel economy has added to the need for more precise analysis around the body in white. The solution involves optimizing load path, study on joining techniques, or replacing the parent material with new alloys or composite structures that provide the same functionality without compromising in strength and safety. This paper concentrates on modal analysis of car body to get the highest frequency, which will help us to improve stiffness. To make the car body more resistant to vibrations, the white body must be stiffer to behave like a good damper.
