As engineering takes always next step to evaluate
problems of world by advanced techniques but
still foundry industries suffering from poor
quality of production process control it leads to
poor casting quality & higher rejection rates at
foundry industry. So as far getting higher
rejection rates some foundry industries going to
be shut down because its direct effect on foundry
economy. This paper will help for proper
diagnosis for core lifting & float defects in small
castings it results less wall or rupture casting at
final stage. Number of foundry industries in
India but for all not possible to do automation,
mostly medium & small-scale industries facing
these kinds of issues at higher rates. The freezing
of process parameters & steps done at our
industry end it leads to rejection rates lower from
25% to 1.5%. This paper is an example of process
arresting & freezing at organization level.
